Ahh, I see your cat has the same hobby as mine - bird watching! f/v
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Actually glad she's not outside when the Blue Jays have lunch. There are five or six and they all come together...Feather doesn't chase birds but the Jays wouldn't need an excuse.

Fantastic scene, Nancy! I have a very similar one of my puppy on alert with the squirrels on my bird feeders!! .. . . love the feel of this . . . . so homey and warm......fv
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Trouble is ...this room is not heated...so it's really quite cold there. My rosemary bush seems to thrive...and my gardenia also..

Just love Feather, she has a wonderful place to watch the wildlife!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I just noticed that my Maine trophy (the net float) is just above her perch!!

A very special image, Nancy! Congrats! L/F
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It was easy to catch the jays...they come in a pack and take turns at the feeder. We have at least five regulars! But they don't like me going outside for a clear photograph....

I love this moment! Wonderful capture! (And I love that chest!) l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
The jays are so large they barely fit on the feeder! The chest is English pine...purchased so many years ago in California.

Lovely!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Fortunately Feather does not kill birds....just moles and tiny mice....which she brings to us and leaves as trophies on the back patio.
