The Gulf waters are so calm (unless there's a storm) so this kind of boating really appeals to me. I've never tried kayaking however.

I never tried a Kayak....but my fly fisherman father has us out on the water (streams, rivers, oceans) for an entire childhood and then to their retirement in Florida. I could grow gills.
