Description
Everyone wants to be close to the ocean and so the high and low rises fill each inch of ground, the views perhaps not as distant, the smog and air pollution perhaps part of the obstruction.

It gets a little surreal with digital but interesting to compose this way! Thanks, Felix.

Very creative work Nancy! Love the details and the atmosphere! F/L
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Xueping. I put in a nice layer of smog...without really noticing that I was painting it!

This is wonderful Nancy. The tones are beautiful, but how sad the cause. It's a powerful statement. I love your environmental work Nancy! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I'm old enough to remember it being less populated...really! Even when I visit my daughter in Los Angeles, I can feel the pressure, feel the number of cars...remember how it used to be....I do like to speak up with my art. .

Pointillism is every dot applied with a brush...I just pushed down on the mouse and moved it quick across the screen....many times....very quick. Very FUN!

Such a grand scope! I am looking above at the next two thumbnails above the comments and can't wait to get to them. The first sentence of your description reminds me of my pet theory that all want and need some sort of paradise and have within our DNA code a longing for Eden. Lovely work, my friend! L/F A bit of Pointillism here?
Sarah Loft
Love your creative landscapes, Nancy!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Sarah. The digital world is a new place to feel the ground beneath my feet, or how high I want the mountain to be!
