Description
One of my very favorite flowers, my sturdy amaryllis has visited me with blooms for two years and looks like I might be gifted again this year. Two bulbs fill a decorative box...one is all red blooms, the second fancy red and white. I've made them the subjects of many photographs but this is their first "painting".

Thanks so much! I'm painting with gouache on a coated brown paper and it makes the photos have such life! It's quite a collaborative work with the camera.
