Description
I was busy trying to photograph a bumble bee on an azalea bush and then I noticed that the morning sun had made such a nice portrait of me on the monkey grass and nearby bushes. What a nice gift for a junior gardener and lover of the earth. Just a little late for Earth Day, but still....what a gift to me.

Many thanks, Jim for featuring my portrait in WHAT Interrobang 1. It's a delight to find a shadow of myself there. The white grasses look a lot like my white hair, too....but I shouldn't admit to that! So appreciate your support for my art and for this extra showcase.

Many thanks, John for including my selfie Mother Nature photo in Images That Excite You. I must say it was startling to first see this shadow...and well, take it's photo. I really like the image though and love the feature!

Wow, I love this and the interesting texture of all the plants, stones, etc. on the ground give it such interesting character and mood. LF

The long stranded plant is a border of monkey grass which is just beginning now to have new green sprouts. I loved the collection of bare plants ...which are all green now...just a week later.

It was so nice to finally be outside....after a very cold winter. Thanks, Meg.
