Whoa - typo alert (of course!). It should be "your" special day not "our" special day. LOL

And at my august age, my eye corrects the typos. I didn't even see it. (And one of my famous careers was being a proofreader for a famous magazine.)

F/L A stunning still life - what a beautiful way to hold the memory of our special day:>)

I like having the "masters" participate in my daily life. This Matisse poster has been in one kitchen after another over the years....always full of cheer. The day was wonderful!!!

Beautiful still life! What a wonderful way to celebrate your day! l/f!

Artist's Description

My birthday bouquet featured this beautiful hydrangea and so little by little I gathered the rest of the vases for a group tribute to Matisse and his vases with flowers. Quite a lovely project for my special day....which it was.

After a course in cubism in 1973 I began to explore pen and ink geometric art. Each stroke was unplanned but exact, the designs becoming more elaborate and more fun to execute. First circles, then onward to straight lines, then organic and architectural constructions. Thirty years later I still dance out on the white space of a simple sheet of paper to weave new drawings. Picasa effects allow me to...
