Description
My daughter acquired two male Siamese Fighting Fish, one Red, one Blue. They are prone to high levels of aggression so each has his own tank with heaters to bring the water to temperatures like the rice paddies of Cambodia and Thailand, their origin. They make fantastic pets....and people even teach them to jump through tiny hoops. Certainly they swim right up and always say hello! And....they are beautiful!

Fascinating fish and story! Nicely processed! LF
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
My daughter now has two more fish...a brilliant turquoise and black male and one female nicknamed "Little" until she got too big and began biting Blue so she now has her own tank. There are four tanks now. !!

I've seen the pictures, watched the videos....This is going on in LA. I'm here in St. Louis with my cat, Feather. Not really into fish.

So lovely, Nancy! A magical feeling with such rich warm tones!......vf
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Red is such a friendly fish....comes swimming just to the spot nearest and then flares all of his beautiful fins and flappers. I'd love to get some more photos, but I'll have to rely on my daughter to send them from LA.

Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Evelina. I was visiting my daughter in LA and these are her new rescues.

I love the 'atmosphere' , slightly cloudy beautiful under water, with a hint of their natural animosity.....very dramatic, Nancy.....compliments, fv........VIVA
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Very interesting fish.....moody and dramatic....a story is unfolding with this new interest....and I'm certain there will be more art from this new addition to my daughter's heart.
