Description
Above the kitchen sink on a wide window ledge small vases and objects find their way into a line up of visual delight. Looking at this photo I see a movable altar to the domestic arts, an audience for the work of the kitchen and a front row seat to what's happening in the back yard!

Lovely
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I love taking interior shots of our house. We have fairly large windows and I know where the best lighting happens ....and when!

I love this still life with the bonus of the outside view on its own merit. But I also love it because it gives me a peek into your world. L/F
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, William. I'm a nut for my interior world...all surfaces full of visuals which could startle Bonnard! We collect things......

I love the depth and layers and light and tones! The contrasts are wonderful Nancy! Beautiful shot! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Sometimes the light is truly amazing and I keep my camera handy. I loved that pale green glow!

My oh my, Nancy dear, your talent certainly goes above and beyond. "Inside And Out" is a prime example of your diversity as an artist. This piece is beautiful. I hope you have room for another gold medal. l.v.f. sweet work, totally sweet
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Many thanks, Dave. Your comments are always wonderful. I'll point out our Martha's Vineyard shot glass ...the island imprinted in aqua....which I cleverly omitted from my description. There's a big silver heart on that orange vase too....that was a gift from my husband...the pitcher, my Mom's antique...so really...an altar!
