I like your gallery Nancy, and, this piece is a good example why! l/fav

Many thanks, Andrew. Ditto with your fine gallery which I've visited. I'm always trying something new...and this clone tool is my latest craze!

I'm beginning to "people" my paintings. Who knows where this will lead....

I love the wonderful earth tones in this phenomenal artwork Nancy; mind boggling and gorgeous!!! :-))

I was so surprised as it began to emerge and be a person rather than just part of a small clump of sand.

Lovely patterns and tones and feeling of serenity. Beautiful work Nancy. l/f!

There is very little serenity these days....anywhere in the world. So I just made some. Thanks, Meg.

Thanks, Sarah. The girl actually comes from the landscape! I'm using the cloning tool in Paint, Windows 7 (my fav new toy) and I constructed her from an abstract shape by moving bits of the painting around. By adjusting the size, one can get repeats, patterns which make lovely costumes or hair ornaments...wow, all of it. It's like learning how to drive a big rig, painting with the clumsy mouse, but the results are lovely.

This is amazing, Nancy! Love how the girl almost becomes part of the landscape.
