Many thanks, Stefano for featuring this work in 10 Plus. It's wonderful to have this extra showcase for works that became "popular". I'm delighted and grateful for the opportunity of reaching a new audience!

Your abstracts really go to the next level with the simple addition of a narrative. This is absolutely gorgeous in so many ways.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Michael. It was getting a little lonely out there on those mountains, flying over the many valleys, out to sea in a fragile canoe. Perhaps I can change that......
Latha Gokuldas Panicker
This is beautiful beyond words,like a wild dream,Nancy !!!!!!!(F/L)
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I'm now able to go back to some of my abstract work and add....a person...in this case this lovely woman. There is a second version with an edited robe...a little less shadow. I'm just learning how to do this!!! Thanks, Latha.

Re-visit, because, this has evolved and grown even deeper in meaning and beauty.......kudos............VIVA
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It was wonderful to feel it coming alive. I used a cloning tool so I can pick up little bits of color and texture and move it ....so I made little lines in her hair from a near mountain side. That sort of art is new and exciting. She is truly of this earth.

Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I found this to be so satisfying....especially to become less abstract and begin to people my landscapes. We'll see where this leads.....!!!

OMG! I love this emotional artwork Nancy... I can actually FEEL it and the plea from Mother Earth....we need to take care of her in every way possible... xoxoxoxo
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I'm thinking more as an illustrator now...and it's freeing me up to do pieces like this one. There will be more. I loved the challenge.
Deepa Sahoo
Nancy, This is so beautifully done! LF
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Deepa. My husband suggested that I "people" many of my abstract paintings...maybe just add birds! The Paint program allows for editing....really quite interesting. This figure was totally new and the mountains all reworked.
