After a course in cubism in 1973 I began to explore pen and ink geometric art. Each stroke was unplanned but exact, the designs becoming more elaborate and more fun to execute. Lenore Senior
Another beautiful and fabulous work! Love this! v/f!!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Lenore. Actually we had no winter here at all....going to be 73, 74 all weekend and my daffodils have buds on them already. I guess the gloom is just in my paintings!!
Bill OConnor

Nancy Kane Chapman replied:

Marv Vandehey
Beautiful!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Marv!
Michael Creese
I love how the mountain is floating above the clouds.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I just love all of the mountains you have right there in Pittsburgh. What a city!
Meg Shearer
Beautiful work. Wonderful subtle tones and brushwork. It's amazing how much can be implied with a few strokes. Excellent work. l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
We've had our first cold weather and I can feel it in this landscape. Thanks, Meg.
Jeff Swan
Awesome work
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
This certainly feels like winter...!! Thanks, Jeff.
Sarah Loft
This one seems less abstract than your usual landscapes, but beautiful!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I usually work with a credit card and acrylic paint...this is with brushes and gouache. These new ones are definitely moody....maybe all of this cold and rain.
