I began my love for art by watching my mother paint in oils and pastels. I must have caught the bug because I have enjoyed fifty years of drawing, painting and photography, urged on and instructed by professors, a botanist, a master of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, water colorists and lately, mixed media devotees. I really love the unplanned work best.....finding the composition...working quickly, adding elements one after another....and then finding the right color on Picasa. This is actually pink and white on black paper...but I think the green is nicer!
