This beautiful long haired calico named Bee sits in a blue window sill with sunlight
giving her white mane a wonderful frame for her ginger colored tabby face.
I began my love for art by watching my mother paint in oils and pastels. I must have caught the bug because I have enjoyed fifty years of drawing, painting and photography, urged on and instructed by professors, a botanist, a master of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, water colorists and lately, mixed media devotees. She is a beauty, I miss my cat so much. I recently came close to adopting a calico, but someone else got her first. LF
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Bee is quite a strong character, very bossy to her two male catmates, Oliver and Poe who have fallen in love with each other and excluded her. Yet the three don't fight. It's wonderful to have just ONE! Or two if they come young as a bonded pair. Hope you find one soon. I just love a companion cat!

Stunning Blue Nancy and lovely cat! Such a rich and wonderful colour~! Thanks for sharing)
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Believe it or not, Beth did her own painting.....! I've never tackled a room or walls....odd, and I'm supposed to be the "painter"!

Love the composition and color of this very much! I bet she is the Queen Bee! vf
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
She might be the queen, but her two house mates (one orange tabby and one Siamese) are both male and they have bonded leaving her an outside force. Sorta a shame. But she's feisty and they are mellow.

This is Bee, my sister's cat and they have painted their hallway in the most amazing blue....I visit her in Dallas and I come away stunned with how she has wrapped every room with beauty. And then there are the three cats!

My sister and her husband have a home with brilliant colors. Add the cat and anyone would have to reach for a camera!
