Love your ancient garden series Nancy! Superb details and sunny atmosphere of fragrant flowers and growth! Wonderful ! FL

Thanks so much, Nikki. I've been studying more formal gardens and layout and next I'm going to try to plant a nice abstract in these shapes! A new direction for 2014.

Dear Nancy, I meant to comment on this before now. This is absolutely gorgeous and tickles my fancy (whatever that is...LOL) I love it. The colors and textures are so appealing to me. Good wishes to you for a happy day and happy week. F/V

Thank you so much Anne-Elizabeth. It pleases me so much that you liked this one. Especially since you invent "languages" in some of your art and it's something I do too. I had a wonderful week!!!

Nancy, this is an enchantment.......great color and vitality. It has a monumental feel to it, like a twenty foot high painting discovered in a cavern, written in a language we dont understand yet. Really like this!! fV!!

This is just the nicest compliment. I really "sat" on these for weeks hoping that they would be as fun for others as they were for me. You are such a fine artist...and your comment is such a great encouragement!

After a course in cubism in 1973 I began to explore pen and ink geometric art. Each stroke was unplanned but exact, the designs becoming more elaborate and more fun to execute. First circles, then onward to straight lines, then organic and architectural constructions. Thirty years later I still dance out on the white space of a simple sheet of paper to weave new drawings. Picasa effects allow me to...
