I took brush painting after my botanical studies. It was such a free feeling
to mix paints right on the brush and create shadows in one stroke. this is a fluffy array of tulip magnolias in pale pinks.

I loved the freedom of sketching/painting all at once in the brush painting manner. It's so much more natural than my earlier very stiff botanicals. But at the time, I loved them too.
