Love the heavy brush and the fantasia....I see flying fish! l/f
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
You're right.....a green sunfish with a long bill.....there's always something unplanned in my art. Keeps me happy.

The touch of blue in the lower part works excellent....you are very gifted and talented with this kind of work, Nancy.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thank you so much, Henk for this nice comment. This week I used tempera rather than gesso and it makes a thick impasto and texture.

Gorgeous blue ocean and marvelous shapes and technique and flow! Beautiful work! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Many thanks, Meg. You could always leave just one comment...I hate to take any of your time on this because I post so many.

Wonderful! You are so prolific, Nancy. It's hard to keep up. Amazing work.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I have a method which is very different from gallery artists. My finished product is not a canvas...it's a digital photograph. I paint one rather large piece and then compose and photograph scenes usually with macro setting. Some then are edited on Picasa for color or effects. All five of these are from the same painting, which I did this morning. It was a wonderful day. Thanks for your nice comments, Sarah.
