Very well done!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Barbara. That internal camera as I watched the slopes for signs of my teens snowboarding...so many years before the art emerged!

Well, you have made my day....perhaps my year. I don't know which Chinese master spirit guides my hand when I do these ink paintings, but surely I'm a conduit for one of them.

A unique and engaging creation, Nancy. This is abstraction at its finest! Love/g+/Tweet!

This is such a fantastic work, Nancy. With all that sunlight on the snow and the wonderful shadows, for a moment, I almost thought that it was a photograph.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I don't really know how I create these landscapes. I had so much brush "training" that I think my hand and brush just do the work. I sometimes work on rolls of paper and just go on and on....and then, the scene appears. Thanks for this praise....I was amazed to see all of the details myself!

Great beauty and movement and perfect title! v/f!!!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Lots of mountains with snow when my two teens were snowboarding....I rarely skied...so I had time to enjoy the views!

Tremendous artwork. The feel of snow and ice in this marvellous piece is superb. Great work Nancy. L/F
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
My kids were snowboarders and there were plenty of moments (hours really) to study the terrain. I think I've internalized the experience!!
