Description
I belong to a group concerned with plastic debris in the ocean. This lovely black fish just seemed to make a point....however to be accurate I might need to include some nets...and
a toxic fluids.

Which reminds me - I saw a little piece on a new invention that floats along the surface of the water (this was a river) and plucks all the debris out. The garbage is dumped into a container on board that is easily switched out when full and replaced by a new one. There are incredible minds at work:>) People who are interested in the plastic clogging our oceans can visit the 5 Gyres Institute which studies the disaster anmd is trying to help stop the pollution..

I saw this amazing video as well. Little by little we'll find ways to clean up....if there's money to buy these new ideas.

F/L This immediately grabbed my attention - such terrific work, even if you had to sweat and struggle with a mousepad!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It's really fun to do...but I'm not sure of the quality of the end product.

I'm into "cartooning" with the Paint program on Windows 7. It's a new world and hard to draw with the mouse. But oh....is it fun!!!!

Well done, an important statement made! LF
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It looks like it could be used for a bright flag ....maybe if they had a parade to save the oceans...!!

Thanks, Vivian. This is a pretty cluttered image...but hey, I bet they say that about the ocean too! Thanks for your good encouragement.
