I also copied and painted again this same flower using a bold blue for the background. This is the only one of my magnolias which i duplicated.

This is the only magnolia I repeated. I really like the lyrical feel of this one. I think there are three different versions.

The lightness represents fragile and the soft beauty of ballerinas. You showed me a correlation between flowers and ballerina's. I love this tons. So happy you are better. I sometimes feel that we are an art family and I love the way our comments to each other give us so much wisdom and warmth! Thank you....! These magnolias were so important to me for several years and my many moods are there to be found. I took ballet as a child...and even had toe shoes....
