Description
A straight edge free hand drawing with shapes which seem to lock into each other, but not always. An optical illusion and great fun by Nancy Kane Chapman. The point was to achieve balance.

I could spend hours following all the lines around to see where they lead. Very cool. L/F

This has been a hobby (or a habit) since 1973. I do these while I watch television//. It's very exciting....no plan, no prior sketching...just one line after another.

Wow, Nancy, I just love the interlocking planes and the quality of spatial fantasy! I've drawn things similar to this, in black ink, in the past, and you make me want to revisit that approach. LF, tw, fav and FB!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Just found your nice comment, Lynda. Really enjoy showing these constructions to other "inkers". It is such a fun exercise and joy! And belatedly, thanks for all of the tw and fav too!

I think there's a plastic building toy which looks a little like this. Of course I didn't draw this from a model!
