Ink Coral

Title
Ink Coral
Artist
Nancy Kane Chapman
Medium
Painting - Roller Ink
Description
Using a coated paper, the ink (calligraphy ink) is not absorbed but forms designs as the roller moved across the paper under varying pressure. I found the resulting designs to be so natural that this seemed like a physics or science project. This particular design looked like some petrified coral which I have found at the beach.

The operative word is "somehow" because clearly this was such a surprise. I want to try other inks and even oils...!!!
