Description
In a beautiful antique store in the Village I encountered this quite large and rare fossil. I asked permission of the store's owner and was so happy he allowed me to take it's picture. There was no price tag I could see. Indeed, it's priceless!!

It's such a thrill to be chosen to be featured for Old MASTERS - Photographers. This image of a giant fish fossil is so compelling, I'll let that be the reason rather than skill with lens and camera. I did ask permission to take it's photo...but surely the shop owner never dreamed the image would have "legs". FAA legs.

I just love geology.....what a great field, Inge. There was yet another very big stone with plant forms, but I didn't have the nerve to ask if I could shoot that one too!
