Description
It was bitter cold and Feather would be spending the day inside with me. The early morning light was so bright and warm, too which created the moods needed to photograph my calligraphy in a dance with the sun.

She wakes me up at dawn...that's 6:30 and for sure I need my coffee right away!

I love this photo of "Feather" on your lovely calligraphy. Feather has all the marking of the Bengal cat and she seems to be a very special kitty! The lighting is marvelous! Thank you for your nice comment on my painting of our Bengal as a kitten. V/F
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Your painting was exceptional....I've tried a few of Feather but so far I haven't settled down to really get it right....which you must do with these tabby markings! She is special...a friend.

Love this! I'm up and reading, reflecting, before the sun is up each day, our cats are most lovely company then! LF
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
My cat gets me up with the sun. It's a very special time and she is her most loving then too.

She spends a lot of time alone outdoors (except when it's this cold) but inside she's sleeping or alert and following my every move. I like all of the attention...so I'm trying to figure out who's the queen. Maybe we share the title. (Looked at your fractal art this evening.....just beautiful!!!)

F/L Feather is probably the queen of the household, isn't she:>) What a beauty and her expression is priceless. I love how cats demand we pay them their due homage - forget the calligraphy (or whatever), here I am! I am so much more pleasing than your mundane tasks!

It looks as though Feather plans to add her own calligraphy to your work! :) Lovely scene and lighting! LF What would we do without our little muses?
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
So far only one picture damaged....she's actually not destructive at all. But work stops and play begins....if you know what I mean!

Nancy, what a pretty cat Feather is. And so typical of cats, they like to perch on what we are working on. Love this.LFt
