Many thanks, Lois. I took a botanical art class at the LA Arboretum and had several years of steady work with magnolias and watercolor. It was incredible fun! And a challenge.

Following several courses in botanical art, I settled into a magnolia period. I still have all of the originals and they circulate through our house in various frames and mats. This one has been a favorite!
