Description
Over the years, I have collected nests and feathers. This lovely cardinal nest came replete with an unhatched egg. I was delighted to see how the cardinal incorporated bits of plastic wrap into the nest, perhaps giving it water proofing.

STUNNING Nancy!...love how you honored the beauty of the nest by keeping it with the egg and adding feathered finds!!....OHhhh...what a delightful Christmas tree your collection would make!! A couple of years ago, I did a Clip on blown glass bird themed tree with real nests, sprayed with metallic gold, my best friend’s hubbie’s Hand made miniature bird house ornaments, Berry picks, Crystal icicles and gold snowflakes...the manger was never so happy!! I LOVE YOUR IMAGINATION...LF
